The Premier League season is upon us once again. It’s time to once again hop on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Time for inspiring underdog stories to be etched into the annals of football. Time for rivalries to get super intense. Time for BANTER. Time for us to witness exhilarating highs and humbling lows with the Club we so much love and Cherish.

  2. Tottenham Hotspur
  3. Liverpool
  4. Manchester United
  5. Arsenal
  6. Everton
  7. Chelsea
  8. Wolves
  9. Leicester City
  10. Westham United
  11. Bournemouth
  12. Southampton
  13. Watford
  14. Crystal Palace
  15. Aston Villa
  16. Burnley
  17. Sheffield United
  18. Newcastle
  19. Brighton
  20. Norwich

Despite a seemingly underwhelming transfer window, United should just about make it into the top four.

The United backline currently looks its best in recent years with the addition of Aaron Wan-bissaka and Harry Maguire providing a solid defensive base.

The midfield though lacking in depth has managed to retain the talismanic Paul Pogba who is capable of turning games on it’s head when ‘he’s in the mood.’

Big things are expected from the relatively young United forwards after Romelu Lukaku’s deadline day move to Inter. Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and even Mason Greenwood have to turn things up a notch if United are to have a shot at top four.

Then there’s Alexis Sanchez whom fans will give anything just to see him re-discover even a sizable portion of his pre-United form.

Top Scorer

‘Anthony Martial 9’ is back and big big things are expected of the Frenchman. I tip Anthony Martial to be the United top scorer this season, with Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba respectively as second and third highest goalscorers for United.

Fifty million down the drain,as Tony scores again! – i have a feeling we’d be chanting this quite a lot this season.

Top Assist Provider

Paul Pogba. The best Outfield player for United since re-signing for the club in 2016, The cog that keeps the United midfield ticking. Expect him to play an important role for United once again.

Player of the year

Tough one but my money’s on Aaron Wan-Bissaka. He has looked unplayable in pre season and has bags of talent and the potential to be a world beater. The defensive solidity he brings to the backline and his ability going forward will be very pivotal for a United side that shipped in a lot of goals last season and lacked an attacking threat down the right flank.

Young Player of the year

Mason Greenwood. Nuff Said

Surprise Package

Angel Gomes. With limited opportunities in the first team since making his senior debut in 2016, Angel Gomes would be looking to capitalize on some wonderful performances in pre season and would be hoping to cement his place as a first team regular this season. Gomes has bags of potential and all he needs is regular playing time to show the stuff he’s made of.

Manchester United begin the season in style with a clash versus Chelsea on Sunday at Old Trafford. The Outcome of the match would most likely set the precedent on how United’s Premier league campaign will go this season.

Prediction; Manchester United 3-1 Chelsea.
